THE MAN ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR JEROME NYAMEH

Associate Professor Nyameh Jerome was born on the 30th September 1974 to the family of late Ferdinand Patrick Nyameh of Kakulu village in Zing LGA.
He holds a PhD, Master and Bachelor of Science Degrees in Business Administration and Management from Tarlac State University Philippines and Federal University of Technology Yola (FUTY) now Modibbo Adama University Yola.

He is a teacher by calling, A social entrepreneur by profession and a Community Development Expert. 
He is an Associate Prof. of Business and Entrepreneurship in the Faculty of Management Sciences, Department of Business Administration of the Taraba State University, Jalingo. He Has over 50 publications in both international and National journals of repute and high impact factor.

He has served in different capacities in the Taraba State Government as administrative staff at the office of the Taraba State Head of Service (HoS), the Taraba State University and private practice. Prominent among which are:

i. Rose from Personal Assistant to the rank of Assistant Chief Administrative Officer GL 14 in the office of the Head of Service from 1996-2012

ii. Current member, Taraba State University Governing Council elected from the Senate from Jan 2021 till date.

iii. Director Taraba State University Centre for Entrepreneurship Training and Consultancy Services from 2015- to date

iv. Member of the Taraba State University Governing Council elected from the congregation 2016-2020

v. External examiner Department of Business Administration, Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna State.

vi. Head of Department of Business Administration, Taraba State University Jalingo from 13th July 2021 till date.

vii. Founder FP-Nyameh Foundation, incorporated in 2009. The foundation has touch the lives of over 5000 orphans, widows and vulnerable children and have empowered over 1000 in several spheres of entrepreneurship and skills training.

viii. Consultant for youth livelihood and entrepreneurship development and empowerment for State Government, Churches/Muslim associations and communities.

ix. Chief partner Joyce Jerome Nyameh Memorial maternity and clinic. Subsidiary of FP-Memorial foundation.

x. His social entrepreneurial activities include:
a) Kakulu Rice Mill

b) Kakulu Fish Ponds

c) Kakulu Animal Farm

d) Kakulu Transport Services

e) Training, Mentoring & Coaching Masterclasses.

Associate Prof. Nyameh has contributed immensely in teaching, research and community service. He initiated the establishment of:
a) Taraba State University press LTD. 

b) Taraba State University Bakery & Confectionary LTD.

c) Entrepreneurship Skills Based Practical for all undergraduate’s students at 300-level. 

d) Built and Equipped meat store in the Taraba State University campus.

HE HAS THE FOLLOWING INTERNATIONAL ESTEEM INDICATORS;

i. Fellow, American Institute of Human Capital Development.
 
ii. Member, American Association of International Researchers.

iii. World Winner and Champion 2018, in Business Management, on the paper title: Moderating Effects of Organizational Culture on Human Resource Management and Employee’s Performance published in the Africa Journal of Business Management Vol.7(28),pp2767-2774, 28July 2013 by the World Data Centre.

iii. Participant in Training on Managing Universities for better performance in research, learning and enterprise held in university of Cambridge, United Kingdom 2018.

iv. Participant in training on the Managing of Research Proposal and Research Grant Management held in La Meridian Conference Centre, Dubai UAE 18th -24th Jan. 2021.

His research interest is in “Youth Entrepreneurship Empowerment for Wealth and Job Creation”. 
He is happily married to Joyce Jerome Nyameh. They are blessed with five children.

POLITICS

Associate Prof. Jerome Nyameh is a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) since 1999. He has been a card carrying member of the party since the inception of democracy and had worked with the former Governor of Taraba state, Rev Jolly Nyame. Though has never held any position in the party, but worked with every joule of his energy for the progress of the party across all levels, federal, state and local government. During those times, he was among the young agile men who always help develop strategies for PDP and helped the party to spread it coverage with rooted foundation across the state and Nigeria. 

He never abandoned the party at any point whatsoever. He is still a member of the PDP and working for the development and progress of the party.

Associate Professor Jerome Nyameh's contributions and impacts in both academic and the social society are tremendous and phenomenal. He has match the speed of contemporary of times and exhibited the good qualities of a leader that he is. Known for his passion for a great society, making a better impact in Taraba state and Nigeria for him, worth more than gold, as he thirst to make greater impact in the society.

A member of the media team of the NYCN Takum chapter resigns

This was contained in a press statement released to newsmen on August 6, 2024. The statement explained that Indiri's resignation was born out of personal reasons. Taraba Govt Begins Construction Of Command Headquarters For Marshall.  Taraba State Commissioner for Information and Reorientation, Danjuma Adamu on Friday disclosed that the state government has embarked on the construction of command headquarters for state newly established security, (the Taraba Marshall). Adamu disclosed this during a press conference in Jalingo explained that the idea was to create a befitting atmosphere for the Marshall to help compliment the efforts of the security agencies in the fight against all forms of criminality in the state.
