Takum Is Said To Be a peaceful place and a very conducive home for everyone to stay then,
But as time fly everything flee and fade away,
Ever since the fall of our "IROKO TREE" HRH Ukwe Ali. The King (kwe/kuru) of TAKUM 1996.
Brothers Turn back against brothers,
Brothers Started Killing Brothers, 
Both Brothers Home were burned down to ashes
Bloodshed upon bloodshed and blood is still about to be shed

*We are tired of seeing our elderly ones beating drums of war
*We are tired of you people telling us the history of our hometown, 
*We are tired of reading tribal posts online
It's a race we all know but we are tired of running a doom race.

We all stay here in "TAKUM" we have assets here but those people busy preaching tribalism to us don't have one...
They're busy enjoying life with their love ones and family members either in Portharcourt, Abuja, Lagos or any of the populated areas of the country,
Just because we don't have anything to offer them,
 Our level of education is very poor, 
 Our living standard is also poor for their liking, 
Their children are attending best schools within or even outside the country.

The fight is just for you and I to face,
Don't you think how we all struggle before we Build the houses we are living in???

*Think about the small business you're running right now that gives you steady income...
*Think about the free life you're living now.
*What about the 100million deal you're about to get?
*As a chamba brother think about your KUTEB  or JUKUN Cousins....

Are you ready to lose them?
Are you ready to lose your house, job or business?

I guess the answer is No...

WE HAVE OTHER ISSUES TO SETTLE NOT JUST FIGHTING OVER OWNERSHIP OF LAND!!!

Let's Say No To War

This was contained in a press statement released to newsmen on August 6, 2024. The statement explained that Indiri's resignation was born out of personal reasons. Taraba Govt Begins Construction Of Command Headquarters For Marshall.  Taraba State Commissioner for Information and Reorientation, Danjuma Adamu on Friday disclosed that the state government has embarked on the construction of command headquarters for state newly established security, (the Taraba Marshall). Adamu disclosed this during a press conference in Jalingo explained that the idea was to create a befitting atmosphere for the Marshall to help compliment the efforts of the security agencies in the fight against all forms of criminality in the state.
