It is on record and in so many instances that the ABON-ZO ZONYUNU and KURU ZONYUNU of Takum have been found breaching the ethics, costumes and norms of the Traditional Council and if left unchecked will destroy the good image of our Culture and Tradition.

The secretary disclose this earlier today while briefing the Press; "you all must have witness the unlawful and illegitimate activities masterminded by ABON-ZO ZONYUNU and KURU ZONYUNU of Takum (Mr. Samaila Yakubu aka Young JP) who were on the verge of tarnishing the image of our Culture and Tradition without being mindful of the Traditional stool they're holding, as such their attitude is totally against the custom and tradition of the Traditional Tittle. Therefore,; we unanimously approved the immediate removal/dethronement of the both of them and the rest. 
It's so unfortunate that the ABON-ZO ZONYUNU and KURU ZONYUNU of Takum are in total disrespect to custom and traditions of the stool including their persistent involvement in unlawful and illegitimate activities bringing unrest and destabilizing the peaceful coexistence that have been maintained for long while holding on a Traditional stool.

However, their removal was made after due consultations with the relevant Traditional Council stakeholders and in compliance with ethics and norms of the Traditional Council and other reasons stated above.

The removal was reached in order to safeguard the sanctity, culture, tradition, and prestige of the stool built for years.

We call on the public to remain calm, law-abiding and to go about their normal businesses. While a new ABON-ZO ZONYUNU AND KURU ZONYUNU of TAKUM will soon be appointed.

This was contained in a press statement released to newsmen on August 6, 2024. The statement explained that Indiri's resignation was born out of personal reasons. Taraba Govt Begins Construction Of Command Headquarters For Marshall.  Taraba State Commissioner for Information and Reorientation, Danjuma Adamu on Friday disclosed that the state government has embarked on the construction of command headquarters for state newly established security, (the Taraba Marshall). Adamu disclosed this during a press conference in Jalingo explained that the idea was to create a befitting atmosphere for the Marshall to help compliment the efforts of the security agencies in the fight against all forms of criminality in the state.
