The Honorable commissioner for youth and sports development Taraba State, Amb. Joseph Joshua, today, represent his Boss, His Excellency, Dr Agbu Kefas, the Executive Governor of Taraba state, at the opening ceremony of Youth Corp Members, at the NYSC orientation camp, Taraba State.

The commissioner who delivered his speech, on behalf of the Governor, first and foremost, welcomes all the youth Corp Members to Taraba. Also, the commissioner, urges the corp members to be diligent and dedicated to their duties, especially, at their various places of primary assignment, among other activities to be shouldered on them to serve their fatherland. In addition, the commissioner challenge the Corp Members to add value in what ever capacity they will be posted to serve after camping. Be good ambassadors and avoid crimes emanating from youthful decadence, and create value aiding schemes, or programs that will harness Taraba and Tarabans nature's gift, Amb. Joseph said.

The value of lives you will touch, will place a mark of honour in your name, in Taraba and beyond, the commissioner emphasized.

 According to the Hon. Commissioner, the administration of His Excellency, Dr Agbu Kefas, is willing to support and bring aids to the corp members in Taraba state, by ensuring that, above all, their lives and properties will be protected, as there are necessary provisions set to make their lives comfortable for them as they serve in Taraba State.

A member of the media team of the NYCN Takum chapter resigns

This was contained in a press statement released to newsmen on August 6, 2024. The statement explained that Indiri's resignation was born out of personal reasons. Taraba Govt Begins Construction Of Command Headquarters For Marshall.  Taraba State Commissioner for Information and Reorientation, Danjuma Adamu on Friday disclosed that the state government has embarked on the construction of command headquarters for state newly established security, (the Taraba Marshall). Adamu disclosed this during a press conference in Jalingo explained that the idea was to create a befitting atmosphere for the Marshall to help compliment the efforts of the security agencies in the fight against all forms of criminality in the state.
