This was contained in a press statement released to newsmen on August 6, 2024. The statement explained that Indiri's resignation was born out of personal reasons. Sopiya Ahmadu Gar-Gboshi III, the First Class Chief of Takum, convened a meeting with all District, Ward, and Village Heads, as well as the Chairman of the Takum Local Government Council, Hon. John Ali.  The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and understand why the people of Takum do not need to resort to protests to express their grievances about the hardships faced in Nigeria. During the meeting at the Chief's palace in Takum, the esteemed Chief urged the leaders to rally the youth in their respective areas to shun the upcoming nationwide demonstration scheduled for August 1, 2023. It should be noted that resilience and doggedness pay. He and a few others who graduated with first class merit it, as there was no good mentorship or otherwise. It came as a result of steadfastness, dedication, and resilience, to mention but a few. The honourable councillor was from a lower class of social stratification and strived to see himself in the university despite the financial incapacitation and other discouraging variables.
