TARABA STATE REACTIVATION OF SPORTS IS BACK TO LIFE AND ON HIGH HEEL, AS PLEDGED AND CONTAINED IN THE FASCINATING MANIFESTOES OF DR. AGBU KEFAS.


All modalities have been put in place for the Taraba State Football Association, in conjunction with GR8-A Consulting Limited to stage one of the biggest talent hunt football competition tagged "GOVERNOR KEFAS CUP" 2023, in Taraba State.
This is in line with the agenda of the Governor Of Taraba State, His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, in his bid to reactivate and to intensify sporting activities within the state.

Making this known is the commissioner of Youth and Sports development in Taraba State, Honorable Joseph Joshua, who said it is with great delight and immense pleasure to note that the tournament will colourfully attract great Scouts and Sporting Directors from some top European's clubsides, alongside some selected European players, who will be present to grace the occasion, with the intention of keeping an eye on the league after which the resuscitation of Taraba United will also be established through the Tournament. 
Honorable Joseph charged all the United Football Field across the Six Local Government areas to brace up for this tremendous tournament powered by the Ministry of Youth and Sport Development, Taraba State, because the winner of the tournament will surely walk home wearing a cheerful deposition and smiling face.

On a final note, the Honorable commissioner is equally soliciting for an unflinching support from all his fellow youth across the State to back him up to make this rejuvenation of the State Sports a reality.

GR8-A Consulting Limited in Collaboration with Taraba State Football Association will officially flag up the tournament tagged: GOVERNOR KEFAS CUP 2023. 

The tournament which will commence in November, will run through to December, 2023 at Jolly Nyame Main Bowl Stadium, Jalingo.

A member of the media team of the NYCN Takum chapter resigns

Taraba Govt Begins Construction Of Command Headquarters For Marshall.  Taraba State Commissioner for Information and Reorientation, Danjuma Adamu on Friday disclosed that the state government has embarked on the construction of command headquarters for state newly established security, (the Taraba Marshall). Adamu disclosed this during a press conference in Jalingo explained that the idea was to create a befitting atmosphere for the Marshall to help compliment the efforts of the security agencies in the fight against all forms of criminality in the state.
