WHAT THE YOUTHs OF TAKUM DISCUSSED WITH  GENERAL THEOPHILUS YAKUBU DANJUMA. 
It is not longer news that some well selected Takum Youths met with General TY Danjuma on behalf of all Takumites, The representatives were cut across Various wards in Takum. From Dutse, Gahwetun, Rogo and Tikari wards, led by the Local Government council Boss (Hon. Shiban Tikari).

ISSUES THAT WERE PRESENTED, AMONGST OTHERS:

1. Politicians activities creating tension in Takum
2. Scholarship for the Youths
3. Ussa Road 
4. The need to expedite action to kick-starting the PROPOSED TY DANJUMA UNIVERSITY, Takum. 

The General starts by commending the selected people for the courage and confidence to meet and interact with him. 

On the issue of Politics and THUGGERY, the Gen. cautioned them to play by the rules of the game. He asked if the children of those politicians you are carrying cutlers and stick in the name of supporting them are also amongst you? That is fighting and destroying billboards. Where are their children, the General asked? Why are they not with you to fight in support of their parents? As people, let us be wise because anything can happen. 

According to Alfred Shitta, the General further reiterate and said, 2023 election is already forthcoming, he advised that the Youths should look out for new hands. “Don't support these old names you have with you, they have failed”. 
“the country is hard for the common man, the economy, and security is not working”. 
He also cautioned the need for youth taking part in the political activities without getting involved in any violent act.

“Your requests are well taken. I will look into them.” The General concluded by admonishing us to leave peacefully with our neighbors. He ended by appreciating the Hon Chairman, Takum Local Government, Prince Shiban Y. Tikari for his tireless efforts to bring lasting peace amongst the Tiv/Fulani and also our people. He said he is following and seeing everything, even from afar. 

As a people, our prayer is that let God who's every king hearts is in his hand continue to trouble the General to quickly accomplished our demands.

A member of the media team of the NYCN Takum chapter resigns

This was contained in a press statement released to newsmen on August 6, 2024. The statement explained that Indiri's resignation was born out of personal reasons. Taraba Govt Begins Construction Of Command Headquarters For Marshall.  Taraba State Commissioner for Information and Reorientation, Danjuma Adamu on Friday disclosed that the state government has embarked on the construction of command headquarters for state newly established security, (the Taraba Marshall). Adamu disclosed this during a press conference in Jalingo explained that the idea was to create a befitting atmosphere for the Marshall to help compliment the efforts of the security agencies in the fight against all forms of criminality in the state.
